From these locations I have specifically chosen for serene places around welly they all have different feels for them because of the different surroundings the each have, and the different, yet similar emotive qualities. These are very important to the process in my 12 page spread due to the design that arises from these emotive qualities. So I want to nail down exactly what I am trying to portray and then move on from there with research and ideas to create these.
Olive Cafe:
Emotive Qualities - Bold, Engrossed, lively, serene, native, cosy, delightful, at peace (peaceful) and relaxed.
Chocolate Dayz Cafe:
Emotive Qualities - Calm, relaxed, free, open, gentle, serene, carefree, lively and peaceful.
Picnic Cafe:
Emotive Qualities - Native, serene, engrossed, open, peaceful, energetic and delightful.
They all have very similar feels for them I think, and you could probably relate them all together in some way with one of the emotive qualities which is a great thing when creating my designs, although I just have to watch for making my designs of each location similar, and make them link together, although they need to have their own composition etc..
- A way in which I could portray these emotive qualities is through symbols of each feeling. or even objects you may find at these locations that relate to the emotive quality.
